Records Storage & Retrieval, Archiving Services
NEVR has entered into a business partnership to form Chesterfield Archives. This archive storage
and retrieval company adds to the many services that NEVR Inc./Advanced Business Systems currently offers.
Phase One includes the capability to accomodate 100,000 cartons in an underground, secured location, which is
temperature and humidity controlled.
We are offering this as a ground floor opportunity to participate in a program that will deliver cost-effective
solutions to your storage and retrieval needs. Rather than another program you must adapt to, this is an opportunity for you to
work with us to create the services that you actually need. We are very excited about this new program and look forward to
working with you to design a program that will affordably enhance the efficiency of your business.
We supply reasonably priced cartons in any configuration needed for your records. Challenge us with your record archive
and retrieval problems and needs. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you in yet another area of your business.

Brief History of our facility
In 1960, the Federal Government contracted with AT&T to build a secure "Bomb Proof" building to house some of the
sensitive communication equipment and phone lines used by the U. S. Military here in New England. Bofat Hill in Chesterfield
was chosen as the site for this Cold War bunker. A three-year construction project began late in 1960 to build a 40,000 square
foot, state-of-the-art "fortress" to withstand a nuclear explosion within 4 miles of Chesterfield, MA.
Eighteen-inch solid concrete walls positioned from 4 to 40 feet below ground makes this the most secure climate controlled
facility in all of New England. The cost of this fireproof construction in 1960 was approximately 3.6 million dollars. With
the advent of fiber optics and satellite technology, the building was taken out of service early in the 1990s. Chesterfield Custom, Inc.
purchased the property from AT&T in 1995. A few small changes have been made to the building such as the addition of a loading
dock and a new security system monitored at a remote central location. Gladly, the Cold War is behind us, but our Bofat Hill
facility will remain for many, many decades to come.
